The Caspian and Mediterranean basins are at the crossroads of crucial maritime transport routes in the Middle East. Türkiye is a country with the world's most critical natural resources. With its location at the center of the geography formed by the Black Sea Basin and the Straits, the Balkans, the Caucasus, and Central Asia, Türkiye keeps the pulse of the world's heart in the lubricant industry.

Türkiye, rapidly progressing towards becoming a quality and reliable brand worldwide, realized a high increase of 74% in the Lubricants and Mineral Fuels sector exports in 2022 compared to the previous year and exported to 187 countries.

Lubricants and mineral fuels, among today’s most important energy sources, ensure the continuity of our life flow cycle and bring our country to a prestigious position in the global arena with its export figures. Mineral oil, which provides motion energy in vehicles, industrial machines, and other motorized devices, is produced in our country using high-quality raw materials and advanced technologies. While this provides a significant advantage in product durability, performance, and efficiency, it also enables the Turkish lubricant industry to gain momentum in the world market day by day.

While Türkiye's chemical exports have grown by 64 percent in the last five (5) years, lubricant exports have increased by 199 percent. Undoubtedly, one of the most important reasons for the continuous positive growth in this field is that the Turkish lubricant industry has a worldwide customer portfolio with its high-quality products and customer-oriented approach. Products are manufactured by international standards and exported to many countries worldwide. As one of the world leaders in terms of production capacity, quality standards, and export volume in the lubricant industry, Türkiye exported the most to the Netherlands, Lebanon, the Republic of South Africa, Romania, Belgium, the United States of America, Spain, Italy, Latvia and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2022. Türkiye is positioned to have lubricant facilities capable of producing aircraft oil at the point reached today with its production, storage, and distribution networks in high-capacity facilities where advanced technologies are used and environmentally friendly, with an understanding of investment in people and R&D.
